We're having a By-election this spring!

Two candidates for councillor – Ron Hrechka and Fred Magson – will be on the June 5 by-election ballot vying for a seat on Town of Lynn Lake Council.
Election Day is set for Wednesday, June 5, 2013, with advanced voting scheduled for two weeks prior on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
The advanced votes can be cast between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., while on Election Day, the polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Both the advanced and Election Day polling will take place at the Town Office, 503 Sherritt Ave.
While the time for changes on the voters list has lapsed, citizens are reminded they can still cast a ballot as long as they attend in person and provide proof of identity and residency in the Town of Lynn Lake for the past six months.
The vacancy on Town Council is the result of Councillor Nicole Smith resigning from council during the April 9 Regular Meeting.
