The Municipal Government of Lynn Lake On-Line
The Manitoba Municipal Act States the purposes of a Municipality as:
(a) to provide good government;
(b) to provide services, facilities or other things that, in the opinion of the council of the municipality, are necessary or desirable for all or a part of the municipality; and
(c) to develop and maintain safe and viable communities.
Town Council fulfils these obligations thru food governance and accountability. Council strives to be responsive to needs and act responsibly. Transparency in operations and proactive in thinking, Council serves all community members of Lynn Lake.
